The team breakfast was at 9:30 in the hotel lobby and then we moved hotels. As we attempted to check in they didn't have enough rooms for us at the Land Plaza Hotel where all eight teams are to be housed. The players with Jullian, team manager and trainer David Craig will stay there and coaches and remaining staff found rooms at the Bahia Blanca Hotel about three blocks away. Let's just say that the players have the BEST hotel and I'm sure that they will enjoy it. We all had lunch at the team dining room at the Land Plaza Hotel. Bahia Blanca Hotel will be home this week to Coaches White, Simon and the Showalters, USA media Caroline Williams, team doctor Herb Parris and USA team leader BJ Johnson.

At 2:45 we boarded the bus to go to a gym for practice and then a scrimmage against Canada. After some warm ups the team did some shooting drills and then moved to the arena for the scrimmage. Canada is in the other pool. It was good for the players to find out what level they needed to play at.

| Good job Team USA! |
After the scrimmage it was a bus ride back to the hotel for a snack at 5:45 then dinner at 7:30. Pizza was ordered later for the players.
Coaches and staff ventured out to a recommended steak restaurant. It was delicious. They served us platter after platter of assorted meats to taste test - lamb, chicken, sausages, and all kinds of beef. Yes, it was a big hit with Coach Showalter who LOVES steak!
