Tuesday: Waiting for the Games to Begin!

Waiting for the games to begin!  Team USA is ready.  Tuesday morning we had a chance to sleep in a bit.  We passed on the 8:00 breakfast time assigned to us and ate later.  Today involved a 12:00 meeting to go over the scrimmage film and then off to practice.  It was cold in the practice gym but the team warms up quickly.  Remember it is fall/winter here with a high today to be 57 degrees and lows in the 40s.  It's sunny today so that helps.  We get exactly one hour in the arena to hold a practice, but today we gained about twenty extra minutes, which was an unexpected bonus.

We bus back to the hotel where the team is treated to pizza.  The team meal room was already closed and area restaurants are closed for siesta time. The players had the rest of the afternoon to rest or see the trainer until snack time at 5:30 and dinner at 7:30.
